Today Parsana Health Center has a presence in Gujarat with 18 gyms across Ahmedabad and 4 others in different locations spreading the mantra of not only physical well-being but that of total wellbeing. The first unit of Parsana Gym did not open over night. It was a result of serious research and understanding of existing facilities that lead him to believe, it was time to introduce a new concept over and above the regular games and “akhaadaa” fundamentals. He travelled extensively within India as well as neighboring countries to not only understand the existing formats but to also gain exposure regarding equipment and other infrastructure required for such set ups.
This exhaustive study lead to the birth of his first branch at Judges Bungalow Road, Ahmedabad; which brought in a holistic approach of physical and mental well being all under one roof! Today they proudly stand at 18 units and still growing to make you stronger... One body – One life – Treat it well!
Belonging to a reputed, well-established and one of the trusted families serving in the court of Shri. Krishna Singhji from Bhavnagar, Mr. Vijay Parsana grew up in a rural environment and his natural lifestyle made him inclined towards studying fitness and wellbeing and practicing its principles. Later he joined and Akhaada and worked there diligently. Back in those days an Akhaada was a place where participants followed a disciplinary regimentation of the body, although in different ways and for different reasons but to ultimately seek a goal of self- realization. Given this background it was inculcated in him since his childhood that the body is a chariot to achieve “Moksha”. Literally translated, this means one has to learn to respect and take care of ones physical being to be able to achieve the objectives of life.
Mr. Vijay Parsana seethed in this fitness regimen which encouraged him to excel in different sports and he holds to his credit a black belt in Karate and believes in being a self-educated human being working towards improving the wellness of a society.
